We guarantee easy access to financial products and services for all segments of society through the digital products we develop, while contributing to the heightening of financial inclusion levels in the banking industry.

In addition to Corporate, Commercial, SME, Retail, Public Institutions, Local Governments, and Agricultural Banking, we offer financial solutions tailored to our customers’ needs through our contemporary Banking Products and Services covering Retail and Private Banking, our IT infrastructure aligned with modern requirements, our extensive branch network, and our alternative distribution channels. We continue to support customers from all segments with our efficiency-focused policies.

Through our field network of 974 domestic branches across 33 regions, 27% of which are located in rural areas and 18% in priority development regions, we work to facilitate access to finance. Our digital banking applications, which allow for use independent of time and place, enable banking services to reach a wider audience. We conduct 97.91% of our Bank’s transactions through our non-branch channels.

Additionally, we conduct our international banking activities through the Vienna and Cologne branches and the Budapest representative office of our subsidiaries VakıfBank International AG, as well as our branches in New York, Bahrain, Erbil, and Qatar. Furthermore, we continue to serve our customers by expanding our global network with our Dubai representative office, which opened in 2024, and our London representative office, which opened in 2025.

Throughout 2025, we implemented various product, campaign, and process improvement initiatives to strengthen our Bank’s deposit base, increase customer loyalty, and enhance the effectiveness of our digital channels. In this context, we launched the new term deposit product, “PLUS Account,” to increase demand deposit volume and to encourage our term deposit customers to conduct their current account transactions through our Bank. With the PLUS Account, we offered customers an integrated deposits experience, contributing to an increase in both demand and term deposit balances.

In line with the goal of broadening the base of savings deposits, we continued our digital channel-focused efforts without interruption in 2025, supporting customers in conducting their banking transactions more quickly and easily. The share of deposit accounts opened through digital channels within total deposits showed a steady increase. We achieved significant increases in balances of term savings deposits and in the number of customers through campaigns targeted at specific customer segments, ARI Account campaigns, and pre-transfer campaigns for customers wishing to move their deposits from other banks to our Bank. As a result of these efforts, the share of term savings deposits transacted through digital channels increased by 73% in 2025.

We guarantee easy access to financial products and services for all segments of society through the digital products we develop, while contributing to the heightening of financial inclusion levels in the banking industry.

We also use our technological capabilities to ensure that people with disabilities can easily access financial products and services by making the necessary adjustments in both our branch and non-branch channels.

As VakıfBank, in line with our goal of standing by all segments of society, we continue to offer solutions tailored to our customers’ needs and enable them to save through the products and services we developed during this period.

With our 4,165 ATMs spread across a wide area in all regions of Türkiye, we enable our customers to perform more than 70 banking transactions 24/7, much faster and without waiting in line at a branch. Approximately 24% of our ATMs are in rural areas, and 22% are in priority development regions. Additionally, 100% of our ATMs are accessible ATMs.

We completed the installation of 2,000 new-generation ATMs equipped with the ‘Recycle’ feature. Procurement was completed in 2024; 900 units were delivered in 2024 and the remaining 1,100 units were delivered in 2025, after which installations were completed. With these units, we increased our number of Recycle ATMs to 3,138. By replacing devices that had reached the end of their economic life, we reduced the frequency of cash replenishment and the likelihood of malfunctions, thereby lightening our operational workload and significantly reducing our carbon emissions from cash replenishment and maintenance activities. Upon completion of our field revision activities, 90% of our ATM fleet will consist of next-generation ATMs equipped with cash-recycling capability. In line with our technological innovation vision, we expanded the QR code-based cash withdrawal feature for other banks’ ATMs, which we launched in 2022 as a first in Türkiye, to also include cash deposit transactions through enhancements made in 2025. Thus, we have taken another step toward achieving our goal of enabling our customers to perform transactions more quickly and easily through digital channels.

As public banks, we continued our Joint Public ATM initiative unabated in 2025, centered on the service we began offering our customers in April 2018 that allows them to use public bank ATMs free of charge. Within the scope of this initiative, we rolled out our joint software, which allows customers to transact using their own bank’s exact menus, to over 3,700 of our ATMs. We aim to deploy this software, which is currently operating on a total of 12,000 ATMs together with other public banks participating in the platform, across all 19,000 ATMs that make up the network by the end of 2026. Our optimization strategy, carried out in parallel with the rollout efforts, allows us to use our resources more effectively. Furthermore, thanks to our expanding joint ATM network, we will continue to provide our customers with a standard and high-quality transaction experience through our own ATM menus, not only at our Bank’s ATMs but at 19,000 locations across Türkiye.

Banking without Barriers

Our efforts for the comfort our disabled customers are not limited to our branches. However, we also try to facilitate our disabled customers’ access to our other channels’ financial services.

We aim to remove barriers in access to banking services, and we are trying to find solutions to make life easier for disabled people by being involved in the Banking Services Working Group for Disabled Citizens of the Banks Association of Türkiye (BAT).

In designing the entrances and interior layouts of our branches for customers with physical disabilities, we install tactile paving, call buttons, audible and visual emergency guidance systems, Braille-embossed identification signs, and accessible service counters. Additionally, we have implemented user-centric and inclusive enhancements in relevant processes to enable our customers with disabilities to complete their banking transactions securely, accessibly, and without interruption by receiving assistance from their relatives when needed during their interactions with customer representatives. With these efforts, we aim to strengthen the customer experience, increase the accessibility of services, and support an inclusive banking approach.

In addition, our efforts for customers with disabilities are not limited to our branches; we are implementing applications to facilitate access to financial services across all channels where we provide service. We offer our basic contracts in Braille and audio formats for our customers with disabilities. We identified and rectified errors that prevented visually impaired customers from transacting on digital channels. Thus, we carried out work to convert contracts on our website into accessible formats for visually and hearing-impaired customers using AI-supported solutions. Furthermore, in line with our customer-focused service approach, we added a “Priority for legal guardians of persons with disabilities” feature to the queue management systems used in our branches. This application has raised accessibility standards by prioritizing the guardians of people with disabilities in transaction processes, thereby reducing those guardians’ waiting times.

Additionally, we have implemented a user-centric infrastructure that allows our customers with disabilities to update their disability information through the VakıfBank Mobile application without needing to visit a branch, enabling them to access banking services equally, accessibly, and without interruption via digital channels. This development aims to improve the customer experience and strengthen inclusiveness in digital banking.

As VakıfBank, in line with our accessible banking approach, we develop innovative solutions to ensure equal and easy access to financial services for everyone. In this context, to enable our customers with disabilities to use internet banking and VakıfBank Mobile more efficiently, we have made our digital channels compatible with the screen reader software used by our visually impaired customers. Additionally, through our “Video Service” application, we facilitate banking transactions for our hearing-impaired customers, and we provide sign language support via our video call center to customers whose disability information is registered with our bank.

We are adjusting the screen and keyboard heights and the physical locations of our ATMs to make them accessible to people who use wheelchairs. The ratio of our ATMs configured for use by customers with physical disabilities is 41% of our total ATMs. All 4,165 of our installed ATMs enable visually impaired individuals, whether they are our customers or not, to perform their transactions audibly with the help of headphones. In other words, we are making 100% of our ATMs suitable for use by our visually impaired customers.
