With applications specific to them,
BusinessCard holders are able to use their
points at twice their value while purchasing
airline tickets. Cardholders can benefit from
special promotions when purchasing airline
tickets during frequently launched campaigns.
With VakıfBank’s traditional campaigns, card
holders have the opportunity to purchase
round-trip tickets to domestic locations for
TL 99, TL 169 for Europe and TL 399 for
elsewhere in the world all using Worldpoint
options.
5 cars each month, 15 cars in total
Following the popularity of its successful
automobile campaigns in the past, VakıfBank
gave away a total of 30 cars to customers
through two campaign periods in May-July
and October-December. The campaigns helped
to increase satisfaction and loyalty of existing
customers and gained new customers.
E-store opportunities
VakıfBank launched sizinyeriniz.sanalmagaza.
com; which offers discounts and installment
opportunities special to Worldcard customers.
In the e-store, products in various categories
are offered with up to 80% discount with
periodic campaigns specially for cardholders.
Growth of business cards continued in
2013
The Bank maximized customer satisfaction
by adding product features, services and
campaigns to VakıfBank BusinessCards, which
target existing and new loan customers in the
corporate, commercial and SME segments.
Again in 2013, BusinessCard turnover
continued to grow. By the end of 2013,
BusinessCard turnover climbed 74%, the
number of cards increased 39% and total
credit balance rose 93%. VakıfBank’s market
share for business cards increased by 1.1%
and stood at 7.45%; the Bank ranked sixth in
the market.
With MilPlus it is very easy to fly
anywhere
Cardholders who choose MilPlus travel
program benefit from all the travel
opportunities with the Bank’s MilPlus credit
card. Customers using Worldpoints, obtained
from their purchases and campaigns, at three
times their value while purchasing air tickets.
If points are not sufficient, they are still able to
use three times the value with AvansMilPlus
to quickly to get the tickets they want.
An initiative in urban transport
Within the scope of the project, carried out in
cooperation with Interbank Card Center (BKM)
and the Konya metropolitan municipality,
VakıfBank Worldcard owners started to use
their contactless credit cards for inner-city bus
and tram transportation in Konya, along with
cardholders of other participating banks. The
main POS device in the Konya metropolitan
municipality is from VakıfBank, as the main
bank in the project.
Privileged transportation in Bartın
VakıfBank Worldcard launched a new era
in transportation in Bartın by combining
shopping privileges and Bartın’s transportation
card feature in a single card. With its
transportation feature, cardholders are able
to use contactless cards on public transport.
In addition, the cash credits used on public
transport can be loaded to the cards
automatically without the need to carry cash
or use the transport ticket fill station.
Shopping becomes easy with VakıfBank
Cep T Nakit
Continuing to invest in technology and while
providing customers with products with a
competitive edge, VakıfBank added a new
service to facilitate the lives of its customers:
it launched the VakıfBank Cep T Nakit (Cash
in the Pocket) product in cooperation with
Turkcell. Cardholders, by defining their
contactless MasterCards on their mobile
phones, can make purchases via their mobile
phones. Thanks to new technology used
within payment systems, VakıfBank Cep T
Nakit offered the opportunity to reshape
payment and shopping habits. It was
welcomed with great interest by its target
audience, especially young customers.

branchless banking has become a
part of daily life.
