The Information Technology Department, in
addition to providing IT services necessary for
the Bank to operate, continued to implement
technological innovations and investments
to improve and deliver better service during
2013. The Department started innovative
and strategically important infrastructure
and application projects that aim to create
a flexible technological infrastructure with
maximum efforts for fast completion.
2013 Activities
VIT Program
The Bank implemented the VakıfBank
Innovative Transformation (VIT) program to
accomplish its transformation goals. The VIT
program includes the transformation of the
Bank’s core banking application as well as the
entire banking IT infrastructure through 15
sub-programs.

to create a flexible technology infrastructure in
addition to providing IT services necessary for
VakıfBank’s growing operations.
A NEW
IDENTITY
The transformation of VakıfBank
was reflected in its corporate identity
during 2006. With ‘This Is Your Place’
motto, the founding philosophy of
Vakıf culture was integrated with
the corporate identity. High quality
retail and commercial products and
services were presented to customers
with the “This Is Your Place” motto
via television, newspapers, magazines,
radio, cinema, outdoor and Internet
advertisements. Information on
products and services was publicized
via press conferences, press releases
and interviews. VakıfBank is even
closer to society with its new, warm
and friendly face.
