There is intensive competition in the Private
Banking segment; many banks offer special
events and activities aimed at increasing
customer loyalty in addition to tailor-made
products and services especially developed
for private banking clients. VakıfBank Private
Banking differentiates itself by offering non-
financial in addition to financial benefits and
tailor-made events and boutique activities
designed in line with customer interests. As
per client interests, VakıfBank organized many
art and history activities in 2013, laying the
foundations for long-term relationships with
existing and potential customers. VakıfBank
Private Banking will again continue to increase
its market share in 2014. VakıfBank, which
stood out in the sector with its strong and
reliable characteristics, will continue to make
a difference in the private banking segment.
Corporate payroll operations
As one of the leading banks for corporate
payroll operations, an intensely competitive
area within the banking sector, VakıfBank
intermediates salary payments of almost
2.3 million employees. As of December
2013, the Bank intermediated the salary
payments of 1,158,572 public and private
sector employees, up 9% from 2012.
Including payments to pensioners, the Bank
provides payment services to some 2,276,534
individuals. The total annual salary payment
volume increased approximately 15% in
2013 and climbed to TL 44,517,525,899. In
the reporting year, VakıfBank renewed salary
payment agreements with 340 companies
and signed new contracts with 226 firms. By
the end of 2013, the Bank provided salary
payment services to 5,356 enterprises.
