Taking Turkey into the future of advanced
technology banking, VakıfBank launched
the ‘POSNAKİT’ application in 1997. This
application allows cash withdraws via
ATM and credit cards from gas stations
and member businesses. Expanding the
limits of technology, the Bank launched the
GAP Bankomat Card application in 1998
under the GAP Project, also known as the
Southeastern Anatolia Project, designed
for the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia
regions.
