retail loan placements and acquisition of
new customers. In line with this agreement,
loan disbursements were started in 2013 to

Turkey. As of March, within the scope of the
agreement that enables VakıfBank to reach a
wider customer base, up to TL 20,000 and 36

from approximately 2,000 post offices across
Turkey.

Leader in overdraft accounts in 2013 as
previous years
In 2013, VakıfBank maintained its leadership
in overdraft accounts, which significantly
contribute to the Bank’s profitability, thanks
to activities to increase overdraft use. Linking
school, rent and housing fee payments to
the overdraft accounts, VakıfBank further
expanded its customer base.
2014 strategies
VakıfBank aims to increase its market share
and consumer loans portfolio in 2014 by
expanding its product range to meet various
payment alternatives and product demands of
its customers and by reaching new customer
segments.
Paralleling its customer satisfaction-oriented
service approach, VakıfBank plans to expand
its portfolio of ATM cards to a wider variety of
products and offer new products for different
customer segments.
VakıfBank will continue to pursue its efforts
to increase non-interest income through
organizing campaigns and investing in
technological infrastructure to achieve the
highest level of customer productivity. It will
maintain its competitive edge in the sector
with further efforts to improve customer
loyalty by increasing the cross-selling ratio.
